  • Host families

A cost-saving, user-friendly formula, based on the domestic relationship established with the owner. The student will have a furnished room in the owner's home. Certain rules may apply, such as "no smoking indoors".

  •  Private residences

A compromise between a standard apartment and a hotel room, the residences all provide furnished, fully-equipped studios or apartments. A year-round receptionist is available to answer questions and assist with any stewardship issues. Various services are included in the monthly rent.

This accommodation option requires payment of a booking fee, a deposit corresponding to one month's rent (recovered upon departure if apartment returned in good condition), and a guarantor.

  • University accommodation and halls of residence

Reserved for students, these social housing units are managed by the CROUS (Regional Centre for University and School Resources) and are allocated mainly to French students on scholarships. This is the most inexpensive student accommodation option (whether a room in the hall of residence or a studio in residence). This accommodation option is available to foreign students enrolled in a Master or Doctorate program, or who receive a grant from their government.
